Liverpool FC hit even money to beat Leicester on Sunday

Punters can now double their money on Liverpool if they win Anfield Premier League clash against the current leaders.

Liverpool were originally priced up at heavy odds-on to win their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Sunday 22 November, although the Reds have been drifting for the game with the passing of each day.

A mounting injury list of players means that you can now back Liverpool at even money with Unibet, with the bookies looking to take on Jurgen Klopp’s side against a team who are boasting a 100% record away from home this term.

Why Are Liverpool Such a Big Price?

Virgil van Dijk is clearly a long-term absentee although there are a number of first-team players who will be unavailable for the game including defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez. However, it does appear that Andy Robertson will be fit enough to play and Joel Matip will add some backbone to the back four.

Mohamed Salah’s positive COVID-19 test means that Liverpool are robbed of arguably their most potent attacking weapon, although Diogo Jota’s emergence in a short space of time might add adequate cover, while Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino should also line up against the Foxes.

However, Liverpool won’t boast a strong advantage playing this game at Anfield and there’s a fear that they could be beaten by a Leicester City team looking to poke holes in that already leaky Reds defence for this weekend fixtures.

Can Leicester Take Advantage of Liverpool’s Injuries?

On the face of things, it looks to be the perfect time for Leicester to be travelling to Anfield and they have previously won 5-2 at Manchester City this season, while Jamie Vardy should be fit as a fiddle considering that the Foxes striker is no longer an England international.

Leicester are sitting top of the Premier League standings and they’ve had to cope with a few injury problems of their own, although the form of Wesley Fofana has been excellent in recent weeks and there is lots to like about James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes in the midfield department.

Leicester can be backed at 14/5 to win this game and some might like the Asian Handicap bet where you can back Rodgers’ team off scratch or even half a goal in a bid to get the better of a Liverpool side who have been decimated by injuries.

Will Lots of Goals Be Scored at Anfield?

One potential betting angle could be to back a high goal count in this clash considering Liverpool might regard the best strategy as being one where they can outscore their opponents.

Over 3.5 Goals is currently at 6/4 with Sportsbet.io and we feel as though the other good bet to have could be Liverpool to win and BTTS which is currently priced up at 21/10 with the same bookie. Perhaps Klopp’s men will still have too much in hand for their opponents.
