We have picked out six FA Cup matches where we’re expecting both teams to score and William Hill will pay 26/1.
We have picked out six FA Cup matches where we’re expecting both teams to score and William Hill will pay 26/1.
The FA Cup third round takes place this weekend and we’re really excited about some of the match-ups taking place. This competition is fairly trappy when it comes to predicting the outcome of matches, although we’re taking a BTTS Yes accumulator where we can simply cheer on the two teams to score in each of the games we’ve selected.
Our FA Cup accumulator pays out at 26/1 and we’ve selected the following third round matches:
You can place this FA Cup accumulator with William Hill and enjoy their Acca Freedom promotion where you can either boost the above six-fold or alternatively go for Acca Insurance and get your stake back as a free bet if one selection lets you down.
Chorley v Derby: we’re expecting this match to be high-scoring considering that the entire Derby County first team are isolating and that will mean the Under-23’s will face a non-league team eager to pull off a giant-killing and go through to the next round.
Blackburn v Doncaster: the Championship side are strong favourites to win this game although we’re expecting Doncaster to put up a decent fist of things and we could see both sides find the net as part of a high-scoring clash.
Blackpool v West Brom: this is an FA Cup headache that Sam Allardyce would prefer to avoid, although the Baggies need a pick-me-up after losing their last two matches by heavy margins. Blackpool look well-placed to cause an FA Cup upset in this clash and we’re expecting BTTS Yes at Bloomfield Road.
Bristol Rovers v Sheffield United: another match where there could be an FA Cup shock although our preference is to back both teams to score. We actually think the Blades might beat their League One opponents although a clean sheet could be beyond them.
Huddersfield v Plymouth: the home side might have too much for the Pilgrims, although Argyle have little to lose from having a crack at their Championship opponents and this could be a close one.
QPR v Fulham: we’re surprised how big the odds are about BTTS Yes for a west London derby where both teams will look to get on the front foot. The Cottagers are favourite although the plain truth is that this is an FA Cup clash which could be very close.
